Our recruitment process
Step 1 – application
Upload your CV and answer any application questions – we need to make sure you meet the requirements of the role.
We may contact you with extra questions, for example about your skills and experience.
We'll let you know if we'd like you to attend an interview.
Step 2 – interview
We have a 2-stage interview process which includes a competency-based interview (face to face or by video) and a technical assessment.
This may vary depending on the level of your role.
Read more below about how to prepare for your interview.
Step 3 – joining
If you’re successful after the interview, one of our recruiters will be in touch to discuss the details of our offer.
If you accept, you'll go through our employment screening process and we'll agree a suitable start date.
A member of our onboarding team will then guide you through the joining process and get you ready for your new career with us.

Applying with a disability
We are a signatory to the Disability Confident scheme. This means that we will offer an interview to disabled candidates entering under the scheme, who best meet the minimum criteria for a role.
If you have an accessibility requirement, disability or condition that you think may require adjustments to be made to our assessment process, let us know.
Examples of adjustments we have made include extra time for assessments and assistive technology for interviews or assessments that involve a laptop.
Preparing for your interview
We use a structured, competency-based approach to interviews to help us assess each candidate's capabilities.
This means we'll ask you questions about your career history and motivation, our values and core skills[4] and technical questions related to the role you're applying for.
Interviews can be a daunting experience. It's important to us that you feel supported and given the opportunity to perform at your best. To help, here are some tips.
Get to know us
Take some time to get to know our objectives and how we work.
Read about our strategy until 2025[5] and what it's like working here[3].
You should also:
- review your CV and be ready to talk about your previous experience and transferable skills
- think about what questions you'd like to ask at the end of the interview
Use the STAR model to structure your responses
When answering our questions, we want you to explain how you handled a situation and worked through problems to reach a successful outcome. Give compelling, concrete examples with detailed information to back it up.
We recommend structuring your responses with the STAR method[5], which helps you create an easy-to-follow story with a clear conflict and resolution.
Be yourself
Interviews are a great opportunity for you to showcase what you’re good at and the things you have done to demonstrate your strengths and abilities. You should be ready to talk about why you're the right person for the role and what will make you a great addition to the team.
Don’t be afraid to talk about your development areas too. Everyone has areas that they need to work on, and if your application is successful these areas can be built into your development plan.
